Reviews
I visited Moose Tooth right before they closed for the season, so they were out of many menu items, which made sense. The atmosphere was nice, though the place felt a bit outdated. I liked the animal displays, and the sounds they made now and then were a fun touch. The food was okay, nothing special, but I enjoyed the vibe and plan to come back when they reopen for the winter carnival in February.
Great service Fun atmosphere from moose hats to self playing organ and inside thunderstorms to go with the hunting theme. Portions were good and overall was a fun place for dinner. Seated super quickly and greeted well.
I've been to lake George more times than I can count and never stopped here to eat until my most recent trip last weekend. Pleasantly surprised! We were walking around town and just wanted a quick bite to eat. we saw no one was sitting outside and decided to have dinner here on the patio. First impression was that they are very kid friendly, with a coloring book menu, crayons and a moose antler crown. Love this!! The waiter was super nice, and took our drink order and my 2 year olds order first. The kids meal came out so fast, another plus. We ordered a few apps and our meals which unfortunately took a pretty long time. Nothing absurd, but it was a longer wait than we would have liked, especially with a younger child who at this point had finished eating before our apps even arrived. All the apps were good, and meals were tasty (standard bar food, which honestly is my favorite lol) We ate outside so I can't comment on the interior decorations, but from what I see in other reviews and yelp photos, it looks like a lot of fun, and another great way to keep the kids entertained. I would 100% come back, try dining inside, and try a few other items on the menu.
Friendly service. GREAT for kids. Really unique dining option. Fun Moose and camping theme carried throughout the decor and there is a "thunderstorm" every hour or so inside. Good menu with a variety of family friendly options. We stumbled upon here last year and the kids requested we come back. It was a fun experience and the food was good that we happily agreed to go again. Anyone with kids age 2-10 should definitely come. It's like a cheap Disney adventure.
Panini sandwich, fish and chips, nachos, veggie burger, fries, bloomin' fried onion, homemade root beer. All the things we ordered; all the things we enjoyed. Solid "American" food in Lake George Village. Definitely a more tourist-centric spot with animal sounds and decor giving the place a frenetic feel at times. But....the food was good and so was the service. Most importantly, our friends (that are, in fact, tourists) had a good time - and meal.
